Our latest project

Borough Championships

One of the most significant projects of recent years to be funded by MCT is the establishment of Borough Development Groups and Borough Championships in all 17 London boroughs which make up Middlesex.

Clubs in each Borough co-operate with their local MCB Development Officer in identifying talent at U10, U12, and U14 age groups for both girls and boys, producing teams for each borough to play against others in local competitions.

Talented youngsters therefore have opportunities to showcase their skills in both training environments and match play conditions on multiple occasions, giving them the maximum chance of reaching their potential.

Borough Championships are now seen as an integral step in the Middlesex Youth Players pathway, as described in the Youth Players Handbook for 2014
