Middlesex Cricket Trust

Welcome to the official website of The Middlesex County Cricket Club Centenary Youth Trust, to give us our full name, though we are generally known as the Middlesex Cricket Trust

We are here to support and encourage the development of cricket and cricketers in Middlesex, through the distribution of grants and the provision of valuable information

We hope that the pages on this website prove useful to you, but if you feel that there is anything further that we can do to help you, please do contact us with your thoughts and suggestions

Disability Awareness and Inclusion Training

Our latest project

Disability Awareness and Inclusion Training

As a result of the increasing number of children with a disability being educated in mainstream schools, MCT will be funding at a cost of £7500 the new MCB programme of awareness and inclusion training for its 96 C2S coaches deployed in over 200 schools, covering 27 Chance to Shine and 10 Streetchance projects. It is important to ensure these coaches have the necessary skills, support and confidence to differentiate their coaching sessions in varying and sometimes challenging environments.

Working with the English Federation for Disability Sport, a bespoke workshop will be delivered, targeted at club officers/coaches, to support the transition of players from Hit the Top Clubs to mainstream cricket clubs.

Future plans

We are now funding a new initiative working in conjunction with the MCB Development Officers and local clubs to identify talent in each of the 17 Boroughs of the County and to raise teams at U12 and U14 levels for both boys and girls to play in competition over the next 2 seasons

We are also funding for the next 2 years a new project for secondary schools in the Boroughs of 'Kensington & Chelsea' and 'Hammersmith & Fulham' to link with local clubs and play each other in competition
